South Africa will host the 2026 African Super Cup as reigning African Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns face USM Alger at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved Sundowns’ request to postpone the fixture from its originally scheduled date of October 31 to November 8.
The decision follows a request from Mamelodi Sundowns, who are set to host the prestigious continental encounter at their home ground in Pretoria.
The Super Cup clash between Sundowns and USM Alger will now take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 3:00 pm at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Sundowns will be aiming to add another continental trophy to their collection, while USM Alger will look to claim the Super Cup and further establish their status among Africa’s elite clubs.
