The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has released the fixtures for the 2026/2027 season, with Shooting Stars set to host Inter Lagos in the opening fixture of the campaign.
The star match of the new season will take place on Friday, August 28, at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, as both teams begin their quest for domestic glory.
The remaining Matchday One fixtures have been scheduled for Sunday, August 30, across different match centres in the country.
The opening weekend will see defending champions and other top-flight clubs return to action as they battle for early points.
