Team Nigeria has unveiled a 15-member squad for the 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
The contingent comprises five male and 10 female athletes who will represent the country across a range of track and field events at the global junior championship.
Nigeria’s athletes are set to compete in the men’s and women’s 100m, 200m, 400m, 100m hurdles, shot put, discus throw, as well as the 4x100m and 4x400m relay events.
The team heads to Eugene with high expectations as Nigeria aims to build on its strong tradition of producing world-class young talents on the international stage.
The World Athletics U20 Championships will bring together some of the best young athletes from around the world, with Team Nigeria hoping to make a significant impact in both the track and field events.
