Nigeria’s U17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, have discovered their opponents for the group stage of the upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
The Flamingos secured their place at the tournament after defeating Benin Republic 8-5 on aggregate in the final round of the African qualifiers.
Following the official draw, the Nigerian side has been placed in a challenging group alongside Korea DPR, Poland, and Puerto Rico.
The Nigerian team will be aiming to progress beyond the group stage as they seek to build on their impressive performances in previous editions of the competition.
Nigeria will begin their campaign against some of the world’s best young talents as they target another memorable outing at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
