Former Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi has mutually terminated his contract with Lithuanian club FK Babrungas Plungė, bringing his spell with the side to an end.
The experienced midfielder and the club reached an agreement to part ways, making him a free agent ahead of the next phase of his career.
Onazi, who was a key member of the Super Eagles squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, joined FK Babrungas Plungė in search of regular playing time after spells in Italy, Turkey, Denmark, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
The 32-year-old is now expected to assess his options as he prepares for the next chapter of his professional career.
