Nigeria’s women’s national team, the Super Falcons, will discover their opponents for the second round of the African qualifiers for the 2028 Olympic Games next week.
The 10-time African champions received a bye in the first round of the qualification series and will begin their campaign from the second round.
According to the draw released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Nigeria will face the winner of the first-round fixture between Sudan and Comoros.
CAF has also confirmed the dates for the opening round matches. The first leg between Sudan and Comoros is scheduled for June 4, while the return leg will take place on June 8.
The winner of the tie will advance to face the Super Falcons in the second round as Nigeria continues its quest to secure a place at the 2028 Olympic Games.
