Nigeria’s Super Eagles have officially opened camp in Warsaw, Poland, ahead of their international friendly matches against Poland and Portugal later this month.
A total of 18 players have already reported to camp as preparations gather momentum for the high-profile encounters.
Among the early arrivals are captain Wilfred Ndidi, goalkeepers Maduka Okoye, Arthur Okonkwo and Francis Uzoho, as well as experienced winger Moses Simon.
Forwards Terem Moffi and Paul Onuachu have also checked in, alongside midfield duo Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika.
The remaining invited players are expected to join the squad in the coming days as head coach and his technical crew intensify preparations for the fixtures.
The friendlies are expected to provide the coaching staff with an opportunity to assess the team ahead of upcoming competitive engagements, while also helping to strengthen cohesion within the squad.
Nigeria will take on Poland in Warsaw before facing Portugal in another international test as the Super Eagles continue their build-up toward future continental and global competitions.
