Team Nigeria has arrived in Accra ahead of a scheduled friendly tournament against Ghana’s Black Bombers and Hitters.
The delegation touched down on Wednesday in preparation for the bout slated for Thursday, May 7, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The fixture forms part of the team’s build-up to the 2026 Commonwealth Games, which will take place from July 23 to August 2 in Glasgow.
The Nigerian contingent comprises male and female boxers, alongside a full complement of technical and administrative officials.

The friendly encounter is expected to provide a competitive platform for the athletes as they fine-tune preparations ahead of the multi-sport event in Scotland.
