The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the draw for the African qualifying phase of the women’s football tournament for the 2028 Summer Olympics will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
According to CAF, the draw ceremony will be held at its headquarters in Cairo, bringing together representatives and stakeholders from across the continent as teams learn their pathways to qualification.
The draw will determine the matchups and structure of the African qualifiers, which will ultimately decide the continent’s representatives at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
