Team Nigeria will compete in all six events at the 2026 World Relays scheduled to take place in Botswana.
This was confirmed by World Athletics following the release of the official entry list on Tuesday.
Nigeria had initially secured qualification in three events the men’s and women’s 4x400m relays, as well as the mixed 4x100m.
However, the global governing body extended an opportunity to all participating nations to register for additional events they had not originally qualified for, subject to approval.
With this provision, Team Nigeria has now been cleared to feature across all relay categories at the competition, significantly boosting the country’s representation and medal prospects at the global showpiece.
