FC Viktoria Plzeň have confirmed the signing of Nigerian forward Salim Fago Lawal as the club continues to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the new season.

The 23-year-old striker arrives from Croatian side NK Istra, where he impressed with his goal-scoring exploits. During his spell in Croatia, Fago registered 15 goals and two assists, establishing himself as one of the standout attacking players in the league.

Born in Nigeria, Fago’s strong performances at club level earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles. He was part of the Nigerian national team squad that finished third at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, further enhancing his profile on the continental stage.
