Eighteen players have arrived at the Super Eagles’ training camp in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of Thursday’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff clash against Gabon.
The team opened camp on Sunday, with head coach Eric Chelle overseeing their first full training session on Monday as more players joined up with the squad.
Captain William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Benjamin Fredrick were among those who participated in the session. Also in camp are Wilfred Ndidi, Stanley Nwabali, Tolu Arokodare, Alex Iwobi, Chidozie Awaziem, Chidera Ejuke, Olakunle Olusegun, Samuel Chukwueze, and Moses Simon.
Three more players are expected to link up with the squad before Thursday’s decisive encounter against the Panthers of Gabon.
