The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to host the Benin Republic in the second leg of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The 10-time African champions will first travel to Togo, where they will face the Benin Republic in the first leg of the encounter on October 24, before returning home for the reverse fixture four days later.
This will be the first time in several years that the Super Falcons will play a competitive match in Abeokuta, a city known for its passionate football fans. The Ogun State Government and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are already making necessary arrangements to ensure smooth organization and strong home support for the team.
The Falcons, who are seeking another WAFCON appearance and a record-extending 11th continental title, are expected to begin camping soon in preparation for the two-legged tie.
Meanwhile, the list of invited players for the qualifiers is still being awaited from head coach Randy Waldrum and his technical crew.
