Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has been ruled out of action for the rest of the year due to thigh injury.
The 23-year old attacker sustained the injury during the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda in Uyo.
Bayer Leverkusen medics confirmed that the lanky attacker will be be back in action until 2025.
Boniface missed games also last season due to injury but he was able to hit a double digit goal to propel the club to the league title.
He has already scored 8 goals this season in the league and in the UEFA Champions League.
