Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, continued his fine form in the UEFA Champions League as Galatasaray recorded a comfortable 3-1 victory over Bodo Glimt on Tuesday night.
The Turkish champions got off to a flying start, with Osimhen opening the scoring just three minutes into the game. The Nigerian talisman struck again in the 33rd minute, doubling Galatasaray’s advantage and completing his brace.
Yunus Akgün extended the lead to 3-0 early in the second half before Helmerson pulled one back for the visitors in the 75th minute.
Osimhen has now taken his tally to three goals in this season’s Champions League campaign, further establishing himself as Galatasaray’s key man in Europe.
