Ahead of the commencement of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, the defender of Germany, Jella Veit, has said they must be very smart against Nigeria.
The 3-time champions are placed in the same group with the Nigeria’s Falconets, Venezuela and Korea Republic.
While speaking ahead of the competition, the defender said she is used to Nigeria having played against them at the U17 level.
” I already know Nigeria from the U17 World Cup, they are a fast team with physical style of play.
” So against them, we need to be a bit smarter and not let them get too close, so we can take the advantage.
” However, regardless of who we face , we have to stick to our plan and be true to ourselves “, she stated
Falconets will clash with the German team in the second group game.
