The round 16 opponent of the Falconets at the ongoing U20 Women’s World Cup has been confirmed.
The Nigerian side zoomed into the knockout round on Saturday after their comprehensive 4-0 victory over Venezuela.
The World Soccer governing body on Monday confirmed Japan to be the next opponent of the Falconets.
The Asian giant, in the early hours of Monday, defeated Austria 2-0 to qualify for the round of 16.
The Falconets clash against Japan has been fixed for 2 am on Friday.
