In preparation for the upcoming FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, the Nigeria Football Federation has lined up two grade A friendlies for the Falconets.
The Nigerian side arrived in Bogota, the capital of Colombia, on Sunday evening and has since started training for the competition.
According to the update from the football house, Christopher Danjuma’s team will confront Australia on Friday, 23rd of August, before facing Mexico on the 26th of the same month.
The Championship is slated to commence on the 31 to September 22, and Nigeria is in the same group as Germany, Venezuela, and the Korean Republic.
Nigeria is one of the few countries that has participated in every competition since its inception.
