Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have arrived in Talca ahead of their Group F campaign at the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup finals.
The two-time runners-up landed in the Chilean city on Thursday afternoon, where they were welcomed by FIFA and Local Organizing Committee officials before settling into Hotel Diego de Almagro, their base for the tournament. The team later held a light training session in the evening.
Prior to their arrival in Talca, the Flying Eagles concluded a 12-day training camp in Santiago. During the camp, they played two warm-up matches, drawing 1-1 with host nation Chile before defeating Australia 3-1 on Tuesday.
Nigeria will begin their quest for glory against Norway on Monday, 29th September at Estadio Fiscal de Talca. They will then face Saudi Arabia and Colombia in subsequent Group F fixtures.
