After wrapping up their doubleheader friendly against Ivory Coast, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have embarked on a short break.
The team, led by coach Aliyu Zubairu, secured one win and suffered one defeat against the Junior Elephants.
Following their return to Abuja on Monday, the players and coaching staff were granted a nine-day break and are set to resume on March 10.
Nigeria has been drawn into Group B of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where they will compete against Egypt, South Africa, and Morocco.
The top four teams from the tournament will earn a spot in the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile.
