The hope of Nigeria’s women’s U18 handball team reaching the next round of the ongoing U18 World championship in China is doubt following another defeat on Thursday evening.
The Nigerian side began their campaign in Chuzhou, China venue of the Championship with a massive 31-11 defeat to Croatia on Wednesday.
They confronted Montenegro on Thursday evening with the mindset of redeeming their image but it was never meant to be as they suffered another defeat.
Despite their improved performance, they still suffered 26-9 and put their qualification hope in jeopardy.
They will play the final group game against Angola on Saturday.
