Victor Osimhen, Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, made the headlines again in Turkey as he ensured that Galatasaray secured a 3-2 win over Samsunspor.
Osimhen has been the main man since his arrival in Turkey and injury to Mauro Icardi during the week means the Nigerian International will continue to be in the spotlight.
The Red and Blood hosted Samsunspor on Sunday and it was Osimhen who scored the opening goal in the 3rd minute before Olivier leveled up for the away in the 50th minute.
The Nigerian forward restored Galatasaray lead in the 55th minute and Michy Batshuayi made it 3-1 in the 85th minute.
Osimhen was subbed off in the 82nd minute before Aiit Benn halved the deficit for Samsunspor as the game ended 3-2.
Osimhen has now scored 8 goals and 4 assists in 9 matches for Galatasaray this season.
