Nigeria’s Super Falcons first-choice goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has completed a move to English Women’s Super League (WSL) side Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper joins the Seagulls from French club Paris FC, where she had been since leaving Nigerian champions Rivers Angels in January 2020.

During her time in France, Nnadozie made 118 appearances for Paris FC and was instrumental in their 2025 Coupe de France Féminine triumph, notably saving two penalties in the final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Brighton confirmed the signing on Friday afternoon via an official statement:

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, subject to the usual regulatory processes. Chiamaka will officially join Albion on July 1, following the expiration of her contract with Paris FC.”

Nnadozie is currently with the Super Falcons in Morocco as they prepare for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
