Nigerian international Henry Onyekuru has completed a move to Turkish club Gençlerbirliği, signing a two-year contract.
The 28-year-old forward, who can operate both on the left wing and in attack, returns to Turkey after a stint with Saudi Pro League side Al Fayha last season.
Onyekuru began his professional journey with Belgian outfit KAS Eupen before earning a move to Premier League side Everton. Over the years, he has had spells with various Turkish clubs and now adds Gençlerbirliği to that list.
Confirming the signing, the club stated:
“Strengthening its squad with numerous signings, the Reds and Blacks have signed Henry Chukwuemeka Onyekuru on a two-year deal.”
