Serie A outfit Hellas Verona have confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker Gift Orban from German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.
The 22-year-old began his professional career in Norway before moving to Belgian club Gent in 2023. He later had a short stint at Lyon before joining Hoffenheim, where he scored four goals in 13 appearances last season.
Verona announced on Wednesday evening that Orban has joined on a loan deal with an option to buy, following the successful completion of his medicals.
“Hellas Verona FC announces the acquisition on loan with an option to buyof forward Gift Orban from TSG Hoffenheim,” the club stated.
