Bright Osayi-Samuel has completed a return to English football, signing for Championship side Birmingham City.
The 27-year-old joins the Blues on a three-year contract that runs until the summer of 2028, following the expiration of his deal with Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Osayi-Samuel is well-acquainted with English football, having risen through the ranks at Blackpool before moving to Queens Park Rangers in 2017, where he made over 100 appearances.
“Birmingham City is delighted to confirm the signing of Bright Osayi-Samuel, subject to clearance,” the club announced.
The versatile defender has 22 caps for Nigeria and was part of the Super Eagles squad that finished as runners-up at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
