South African side Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the signing of Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah.
The Nigeria international joins the Maroons on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Orlando Pirates, where he spent the last four-and-a-half seasons.
Ndah’s arrival is expected to bolster Stellenbosch’s defensive options as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the business end of the season.
The experienced centre-back becomes the fourth Nigerian to represent the Western Cape outfit, joining current teammates Ibraheem Jabaar and Kazie Enyinnaya, as well as former forward Stanley Dimgba.
The 26-year-old will don the No. 99 jersey and could make his debut when Stellenbosch face Magesi FC in a Betway Premiership clash on Wednesday evening at the iconic Danie Craven Stadium.
His addition underscores Stellenbosch’s intent to remain competitive in the league as they push for a strong finish to the campaign.
