Marcus Rashford has completed a loan move from Manchester United to Aston Villa for the remainder of the season.
Rashford had been sidelined at Old Trafford since the Manchester derby in December following a fallout with head coach Ruben Amorim, who criticized the forward’s perceived lack of effort in training.
Villa is reportedly set to cover at least 75% of Rashford’s wages, with the possibility of that rising to 90% based on both Rashford’s and Villa’s performances.
This loan arrangement follows a similar structure to Jadon Sancho’s move to Borussia Dortmund last season and Antony’s loan to Real Betis this window.
