Rangers have officially completed the signing of Nigerian-born midfielder Tochi Chukwuani, strengthening their squad ahead of the second half of the season.
The 22-year-old joined the Light Blues from Austrian side Sturm Graz after agreeing to a three-and-a-half-year contract, subject to the usual formalities. He becomes Rangers’ first signing of the January transfer window under new head coach Danny Röhl.
Chukwuani, who has built a reputation for his energy and versatility in midfield, is expected to add depth and competition as Rangers push for success on both domestic and European fronts.
Expressing his delight after sealing the move, Chukwuani told the club’s official website: “I’m super excited. Rangers are a huge club and I can’t wait to hear the roar at Ibrox.”
Rangers supporters will be hoping the Nigerian-born midfielder settles quickly and makes an immediate impact as the season enters a decisive phase.
