Nigeria’s Falconets and Kansas City star striker Opeyemi Ajakaiye has joined another American side Carolina Ascent FC on loan.
Former FC Robo player hit the limelight with the Flamingos during the U17 Women’s World Cup in 2022.
The coach of the team Philip Poole was happy to have the Nigerian forward.
“We are really excited to bring Opeyemi on board”.
“We have been pretty active in recruiting young, high potential players and she fits that mold. I know, once she adjusts, she will be an impact player for us. She is such a kind and wonderful person, and we are looking forward to the future”, he said.
