Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids have confirmed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Hamzat Ojediran from French Ligue 1 side RC Lens.
The former Nigeria youth international has agreed to a three-year contract with the MLS outfit, with options to extend the deal by a further two years.
The Rapids are understood to have paid a fee in the region of €3 million to secure his transfer.
Ojediran, 22, spent two seasons with Lens, where he made 17 appearances and scored one goal, operating primarily as a defensive midfielder.
He is expected to link up with his new teammates once his visa process is completed.
