Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Ibrahim Aliyu.
Aliyu joins the club from fellow MLS outfit Columbus Crew as he makes a return to Houston.
The 24-year-old has signed a deal that will keep him at the club until 2026, with an option to extend the contract for an additional year until 2027.
Aliyu previously enjoyed a spell with Houston Dynamo between 2023 and 2025, making 90 appearances across all competitions while contributing 12 goals and nine assists.
Reacting to the move, the club expressed delight at the striker’s return.
“We are pleased to welcome Aliyu Ibrahim back to Houston, where he played an important role during two successful seasons with our club,” the club said in a statement.
