Turkish Women’s Super Lig club Trabzonspor have secured the signing of Nigerian midfielder Chioma Olise.
Olise makes the move from Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) side Edo Queens, where she played a key role in their recent successes.
The 19-year-old has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with Trabzonspor and will wear the number 16 jersey for her new club.
Olise enjoyed a stellar season with Edo Queens, winning the NWFL title and the WAFU B Champions League trophy.
She was also part of Nigeria’s squad at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, scoring once in four appearances before the Falconets bowed out in the quarter-finals.
