Coventry City have completed the signing of Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka on loan from Premier League outfit Brentford.
The agreement includes an obligation to buy if the Sky Blues secure promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has been with Brentford since the summer of 2021, making 75 Premier League appearances and 87 outings in all competitions for the Bees.
Onyeka played a vital role in establishing the West London club in the English top flight and was part of the squad that finished ninth in the 2022/23 season—their highest-ever Premier League finish.
At international level, the powerful midfielder has earned 41 caps for Nigeria and featured prominently at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Super Eagles claimed a third-place finish.
Onyeka now arrives at Coventry City as the club pushes for promotion ambitions in the Championship.
