Victor Boniface, Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward, was notably absent from Bayer Leverkusen’s training session on Tuesday, ahead of their UEFA Champions League match.
Boniface, who recently recovered from injury, has been at the center of transfer rumors, with Saudi Pro League club Al Nasr reportedly vying for his signature.
On Monday, Al Nasr reportedly submitted a substantial £50 million offer for the forward, and it appears Bayer Leverkusen has agreed to the deal.
With Leverkusen preparing for their final training session ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash, Boniface was not present. Reports indicate that the Nigerian international is now set to travel to Saudi Arabia to finalize the transfer.
