Beşiktaş have officially unveiled Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi following the successful completion of his medical.
The Super Eagles star arrived in Turkey on Thursday after the Turkish Super Lig club reached an agreement with English side Leicester City for his transfer.
Beşiktaş confirmed the signing in an official statement released Friday afternoon, welcoming the 27-year-old to the club.
“Welcome to Beşiktaş, Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi,” the club wrote.
According to the disclosure sent to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Ndidi has signed a 3+1 year contract with Beşiktaş. The Turkish giants will pay a total transfer fee of €8 million to Leicester City for the deal.
Ndidi’s move marks a new chapter in his career following Leicester’s relegation from the Premier League last season.
