Flying Eagles skipper Daniel Bameyi has completed a move to Slovenian club ND Primorje Ajdovščina.
The 19-year-old defender arrives from Abuja-based Yum-Yum FC and has signed a three-year deal with the Slovenian outfit.
ND Primorje president Bojan Adžić expressed confidence in the Nigerian’s ability to make an immediate impact.
“We believe Bameyi’s work ethic and professionalism will bring a positive turnaround to our club. His defensive skills are exactly what we need as we push for a stronger league campaign,” Adžić told the club’s official website.
Head coach Milan Anđelković also praised the signing, describing Bameyi as a vital addition to the squad’s defensive setup.
“Daniel’s arrival, along with other new signings, will help us stabilize the back line and compete at the top level this season,” Anđelković said.
