CAF’s media has announced that the Swiss Public Prosecutor has officially ended all investigations into CAF Secretary General, Veron Mosengo-Omba, effective immediately.
Mosengo-Omba, a native of DR Congo, had been under investigation since 2024 following allegations of financial mismanagement.
After thorough investigation and consultation, authorities found no evidence or legal grounds to pursue further legal action.
“CAF welcomes the Swiss Public Prosecutor’s decision and is pleased that the CAF Secretariat continues to uphold the principles of ethics, transparency, and governance that were established under the leadership of Dr. Patrice Motsepe,” a statement from CAF confirmed.
