World football governing body FIFA on Thursday morning released its final Women’s World Ranking for the year, with Nigeria’s Super Falcons ranked 37th in the world.

The African champions amassed 1607.063 points, a tally that keeps them firmly in first place on the continent, maintaining their dominance in African women’s football.

Reigning world champions Spain retained the No. 1 spot globally, continuing their impressive run at the summit of women’s football following their World Cup triumph.

One of the biggest highlights of the latest ranking is Burkina Faso, who emerged as the largest climber, rising 16 places after a strong year of competitive football.

The next FIFA Women’s World Ranking will be released in early 2026.
