French Ligue One Club FC Nantes has released the list of players nominated for August player of the month.
Featured prominently in the list was Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Moses Simon.
The Yellow Submarine was outstanding since the start of the season in August and Simon has been active in the club performance.
The Nigerian International scored the winning goal against Monteplier last weekend to earn the club maximum points for the second consecutive week.
Simon will compete for the award alongside Alban Lafont, Nathan Zeze and Mathis Abline.
