Nigeria’s Super Eagles has suffered a massive slump in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday afternoon with World champions Argentina retaining the top spot.
The poor outing of the 3-time African champions was responsible for their massive fall in the ranking.

The team failed to Benin in the day 5 of the qualifier and suffered a 1-2 home defeat to Rwanda.
Meanwhile, World Champions Argentina maintained its position on top of the ranking despite their inconsistent performance in the South American World Cup qualifier.
France, Spain, England and Brazil completed the World top 5 in the ranking.
