Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is set to spend around four weeks on the sidelines after picking up a muscle injury.
The 24-year-old suffered the setback during Lazio’s 1-0 defeat to Roma in the Derby della Capitale last weekend and was forced off early in the encounter.
His absence adds to Lazio’s growing injury concerns, with Matías Vecino and Nicolò Rovella already unavailable.
Dele-Bashiru’s injury also puts his participation in Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures against Lesotho and Benin Republic next month in serious doubt.
The former Hatayspor star has featured in four Serie A matches for Lazio this season.
