Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has been confirmed injured by the Italian Serie A side.
Okoye has been a regular in the Udinese starting line up since last season and his superb performance has earned the club a respectable position on the log.
The club confirmed that Okoye injured his wrist during Udinese and Genoa clash last weekend.
They further stated that he will undergo surgery in the coming days.
” Maduka Okoye has torn the scapholunate ligament in his wrist following a trauma”.
” He will have surgery to repair the ligament in the next few days”, the club said.
The extent he will stay out is yet to be determined.
