Nigeria international Ola Aina has returned to full training with Nottingham Forest following a spell on the sidelines.
Aina suffered a hamstring injury while representing the Super Eagles in September, limping off in the 10th minute during Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with South Africa in the 2026 World Cup qualifier. The versatile full-back subsequently underwent surgery and has been out of action since.
The 29-year-old is now expected to make his competitive return for Forest next month, providing a major boost for head coach Sean Dyche as he looks to guide the Tricky Trees away from the relegation zone.
Aina’s comeback will also be welcomed by Nigerian fans ahead of upcoming national team assignments.
