Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Sadiq Umar, opened his goal account for Valencia in their 1-1 draw against Villarreal on Saturday evening.
Sadiq, who joined the Mestalla-based club on loan from Real Sociedad during the winter transfer window, made an immediate impact off the bench.
The hosts took the lead in the 32nd minute through Gueye, sending the home fans into celebration.
However, Sadiq was introduced in the 55th minute, replacing Hugo Duro, and went on to score the crucial equalizer in the 84th minute.
