Team Nigeria has failed to produce athletes for the final of the women’s 100 meter final in the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The hope of the Nigerian side was high on Friday after Rosemary Chukwuma qualified for the semi-final.
Rosemary finished 3rd in her heat while her compatriot Tima Godbless crashed out after finishing 6th in her race.
Chukwuma, who competed in Heat 2 for a place in the final, finished eighth which saw her crashed out of the competition.
She and Godbless were the two athletes who represented the country in the women’s 100 meters after Favour Ofili’s name was omitted
