Turkish Super Lig club Caykur Rizespor has announced the contract termination of the Nigerian International Azubuike Okechukwu.
The former Bayelsa United midfielder joined the Turkish club last summer from another Turkish club Istanbul Baseksehir.
His incessant injury scuttled his progress with the team.
Rizespor on Thursday announced the contract termination through their social media handle.
” We have parted ways with our professional football player, Azubuike Okechukwu, by mutual consent.
” We would like to thank Azubuike Godson Okechukwu for his contribution to our team and we wish him success in his future career”.
Azubuike is presently training with the second-division side Erzurumspor.
