Spanish giants Real Madrid have reached an agreement with FIFA to host the final of the 2030 FIFA World Cup at their iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The club, led by president Florentino Pérez, had been actively lobbying for the prestigious final to be held at the Bernabéu. A breakthrough was achieved following a meeting between Pérez and FIFA president Gianni Infantino in the United States during the ongoing Club World Cup.

The 2030 edition of the tournament will be jointly hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco marking the first time in history that the FIFA World Cup will be co-hosted by three nations.

Argentina won the most recent edition of the tournament in Qatar, defeating France in a dramatic penalty shootout after a thrilling 3-3 draw in the final.
