Following her superb performance last weekend, Nigeria’s Super Falcons and Atletico Madrid Feminine forward Rasheedat Ajibade has been nominated for Player of the Month.
The Nigerian International netted a brace and had an assist in the Madrid 4-0 win over Valencia.
She was nominated for the award alongside Pajor, Weir, Araya, Nevado, Maria and Verges.
Since arriving in Spain, Ajibade has become an household name in the Spanish Iberdrola League.
She’s expected to be a key figure for the Spanish side in the Women’s UEFA Champions League this season.
