Former Rangers midfielder Nathaniel Artfield has voiced his support for under-fire Super Eagles forward Cyriel Dessers.
Despite netting 22 goals across all competitions this season, the Nigerian international has faced criticism from certain sections of the fanbase.
Artfield encouraged Dessers to remain focused and continue giving his best for the club.
“Cyriel Dessers—who, in my opinion, gets unfair treatment at times—is nowhere near as bad as some critics suggest. Meanwhile, Hamza may not have lived up to all the hype, but there’s definitely a player in there. He just needs to keep grinding like Buff, and hopefully, he’ll reach those heights,” Artfield told Daily Record.
